Microsoft will release Windows 10 on July 29, 2015.
This will be a FREE upgrade.*

This is a very exciting product release.

Having tested and worked with Windows 10 over the past year, the Network/IT consultants at MBSG recently offered these summary assessments.

‘ Windows 10 is everything that Windows 8 should have been.’ ‘This is the most thought-out operating system release we have ever seen, rivaling Apple.’ ‘Most Tested Windows ever. About 2 million users have downloaded and installed a pre-release version.

For now however, MBSG recommends that most users HOLD OFF with this upgrade.

If you are purchasing a new device with Windows 10, different story, proceed.

This product is different from any other version of Microsoft Windows.  It will evolve and change--along with the upgrade process. It is also the most tested version of Windows in Microsoft history.

If you are running Windows in a domain environment on your work computer, we recommend that you or your IT support people test compatibility on one workstation --before rolling gout the upgrade to all workstations. Beyond any compatibility charts that Microsoft provides, we recommend that you actually try Windows 10 on applications that are important to you.

If you are running workstations non-domain (Work Group or stand-alone), you may notice an icon appear inviting you to “reserve” a copy of Windows 10 on July 29, 2015.

This reservation will offer to download the installer files and later prompt you to upgrade to Windows 10. This process is similar installing a Windows update or patch.  Although Microsoft has invested a boodle of money and resources in the pre-launch testing, MBSG recommends that most users wait a while longer, before upgrading to Windows 10.

A look ahead:  Windows 10 Microsoft promises a more evolutionary upgrade path into the future.  Rather than jarring changes in look and feel every few years, Microsoft plans to evolve Windows 10, more like Apple has done with their operating system.
