EXAMPLES
We have implemented automated exception alerts and reports for many clients using tools such as Business Alerts and Knowledgesync. Common examples include:
- Projected shortage of critical component
- Orders on hold awaiting credit review
- Sales Orders accepted with Gross Margin below minimum target
Review and catch problems before the order ships
- Contracts expiring in XX days
- Orders that will ship short or ship late, if critical component does not arrive
Exception alert gives responsible person advance notice to expedite, reschedule, or take other action.
- Changes to Vendor File or other suspicious activity in check processing
- Inventory items with expiration date nearing expiration
