GoToAssist is a web-based tool that allows Us to support You in 'real-time'.
With GoToAssist, we can temporarily connect to any computer on the Internet (with authorization). You can work at your own desk. You don't need to go to a special computer that was preconfigured for remote-support. Although we also use pcAnywhere, GoToAssist provides you with more flexibility.
By using this new technology, we share your screen (or you share our screen). Both of us can see the same information and work together to resolve problems. GoToAssist is also a great tool for ad hoc training sessions.
This tool dramatically reduces the need for on-site visits. Furthermore, it reduces the time (and fees) required for most support calls.
